Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in explosives handling or related field, preferably oil and gas.
• Certification or training in explosives handling and safety is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with wireline logging operations is an advantage.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, transport, and store explosives and detonating devices according to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare explosive charges and detonating systems for deployment in wellbore operations with accuracy.
• Execute deployment and detonation of explosive charges according to operational plans and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the logging services team to coordinate activities and integrate explosive operations with logging operations.
• Comply with UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
• Implement and comply with relevant policies, processes, and procedures to accomplish objectives.
• Provide on-the-job training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
• Maintain all tools and safety gear, arranging repair or replacement as needed.
• Carry out maintenance jobs within assigned time standards and notify supervisors if additional resources are required.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procedures and equipment.
