Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking a seasoned Lounge Bar Manager to lead day-to-day operations, focus on top-tier service, and supervise a team in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will recruit, train, and schedule staff, manage inventory and costs, and monitor financial performance to maximise revenue while ensuring compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Hospitality/Hotel Management.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a bar, hotel, or signature restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of UAE beverage supplier industry, annual budgets, OPEX and CAPEX.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; proficiency in reservation systems.
• Arabic language skills desired.
• Demonstrated achievements in improving customer satisfaction and profitability.

About the Job

Lead the day-to-day operations of the lounge bar, ensuring high service standards and adherence to company policies and procedures. Recruit, train, coach, and supervise team members to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Manage staff scheduling and workforce planning to support business requirements and operational efficiency. Control inventory levels, oversee stock rotation, and conduct regular stock checks to minimise waste and shortages. Monitor financial performance, analyse sales trends, and implement actions to maximise revenue and profitability. Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing feedback, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining service quality. Develop and support promotional activities, events, and initiatives that enhance the guest experience and drive business performance. Maintain compliance with licensing, health, safety, and reporting requirements while ensuring accurate operational records.

About You

Essential Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management. Minimum 3 years of management experience within a bar, hotel, or signature restaurant environment. Working knowledge of the UAE beverage (alcohol) supplier industry, annual budgets, OPEX, and CAPEX expenses. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and computer skills, with proficiency in reservation systems. Demonstrated expertise in people management, inventory management, customer service excellence, and mixology. Ability to drive performance through teamwork, initiative, accountability, adaptability, and problem-solving. Desired Additional language skills, particularly Arabic. Experience developing promotional marketing campaigns to support revenue growth. Creativity and innovation in food and beverage concepts and operations. Demonstrable achievements in improving customer satisfaction and profitability.
