Qualifications

• Essential High School Certificate or equivalent professional certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Bartending School.
• 2-5 years of bartender experience in a high-end bar, lounge, or restaurant.
• Fluent in English; additional Arabic is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and multitasking ability.
• Demonstrated mixology expertise and upselling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Experience in cinema or entertainment venues preferred.
• Proficiency with reservation systems and basic computing.
• Calm and composed under pressure.

About the Job

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest preferences. Mix ingredients to create a range of classic and innovative cocktails while ensuring high presentation standards. Engage with guests professionally, take drink orders, provide recommendations, and address enquiries or concerns promptly. Promote and upsell specialty beverages, seasonal cocktails, and food items to enhance the guest experience. Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area while monitoring inventory requirements. Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of equipment, ingredients, and temperature records. Handle cash, card transactions, and billing procedures accurately while maintaining financial accountability. Collaborate with colleagues to support efficient service, guest satisfaction, and special events or promotions.

About You

• Essential High School Certificate or equivalent professional certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Bartending School.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end bar, lounge, or restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated mixology expertise, customer service excellence, and sales and upselling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, show initiative, and adapt effectively to changing operational requirements.
• Desired Experience within a cinema or entertainment venue.
• Additional language skills, particularly Arabic.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in managing reservation systems.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
