Job summary

Simone's Tutoring seeks an experienced Executive Functioning & Emotional Regulation Tutor to support children and teens in developing cognitive and emotional skills for school and daily life. You'll coach on organisation, planning, time management, working memory, and regulation through personalised plans.

This freelance/contract role offers flexible hours and opportunities to build a private practice within a multidisciplinary team in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' executive functioning strengths and challenges.

• Teach emotional regulation and stress management techniques.
• Support students with homework routines, study planning, and academic organisation.
• Help learners develop independence and self-advocacy skills.
• Engage parents with practical strategies to reinforce learning at home.
• Monitor progress and adjust coaching plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with tutors, schools, and other professionals when appropriate.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Functioning & Emotional Regulation Tutor to support children and teenagers in developing the essential cognitive and emotional skills needed for academic success and everyday life. You will help students strengthen organisation, planning, time management, working memory, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, and independent learning skills through personalised coaching.

This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping learners build confidence, resilience, and lifelong self-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess students' executive functioning strengths and challenges
• Develop personalised coaching plans based on individual learning needs
• Teach organisation, planning, prioritisation, and time management strategies

• Teach emotional regulation and stress management techniques

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Special Education, or a related field
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting executive functioning or learning skills
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent cognitive development

Preferred Qualifications

• ADHD Coaching Certification
• Experience supporting students with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, or learning differences
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioural strategies and self-regulation techniques

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

UAE Visa & Work Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

• Own UAE Employment Visa
• Green Visa
• Freelance Permit
• Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
• Any other valid UAE work authorisation

• Experience working with children or adolescents

Compensation
Earn 65% commission on all completed and fully paid coaching sessions and coaching packages.
Commission is calculated after client payment has been received.
Payments are processed monthly.
