Job summary

GlobalProcure is seeking a Kenyan Executive Chef to lead our Sharjah kitchen, oversee daily operations, and mentor the culinary team. You will craft menus, manage inventory, and ensure quality while controlling costs and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar role, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of diverse cuisines. Visa sponsorship and accommodation support are offered for this position in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Must be a Kenyan national with prior experience as an Executive Chef.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and management skills to lead and train kitchen staff.
• Excellent knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
• Ability to create innovative and unique menus while adhering to dietary restrictions and food allergies.
• Knowledge of food cost control methods and inventory management.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Create new menu items or modify existing ones based on seasonal availability or guest preferences.
• Maintain inventory levels by ordering necessary ingredients and supplies while minimizing waste.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to high-quality standards and served promptly.
• Monitor food costs by implementing portion control measures and minimizing waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions that involve food service.
