Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Executive Chef to join our team in Dubai.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding position in a leading hotel/restaurant.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for the overall culinary operations at the property, including menu planning, food preparation, food presentation, dining room service and kitchen staff management.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and extensive experience in all aspects of hospitality kitchen management.

They must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality, safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate should be creative, passionate about food and have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Developing menus in accordance with the property’s standards and budget requirements
• Ensuring quality of product produced by kitchen staff meets the established standards set by the property
• Monitoring ordering of food supplies to avoid overstocking or running out of items during service hours
• Training kitchen staff on basic cooking techniques, knife skills, recipe development and proper health inspection procedures
• Overseeing staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
• Establishing controls to minimize food waste and maximize cost efficiency

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef in a hotel/restaurant setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or similar field preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
