Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an EW System Engineer for the FADA program to define, integrate, and verify electronic warfare capabilities across the full system lifecycle. You will translate mission needs into system requirements, architectures, and signal-processing functions, collaborating with partners worldwide.

The role requires travel, a solid English background, and advanced degrees in engineering or physics.

Qualifications

Recent graduates and PhDs in engineering, physics, mathematics or computer science interested in a System Engineer role in the space sector.
Availability for national and international travel; frequent travel to partner facilities.
Good knowledge of the English language.
Desirable Master’s degree in electronic engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Identify the customer’s operational requirements and translate into technical requirements.
Define the system architecture to satisfy identified technical requirements.
Define and evaluate high-level technical requirements and subdivide into functional, performance, mechanical and interface requirements.
Draft technical project documentation.
Integrate, validate and qualify the system.
Conduct final verification and testing with the customer.
Perform platform installation activities and operational test support.
Manage project and planning activities.
