Job summary

Flatgigs is seeking a high-responsibility Event Strategy lead to own our event program, decide which events to invest in, and drive participation from approved plans. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure events align with objectives and maximize ROI.

This role covers end-to-end execution, building relationships with organizers, coordinating on-site logistics, and, as scope grows, leading an events team.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and select which events we should participate in and in what capacity.
• Build the business case for each event — audience, reach, opportunity — and present it to leadership.
• Own full end-to-end execution once an event is approved — see below, this is not a hand-off role.
• Keep event strategy aligned with our broader marketing objectives.
• Build and lead an events team as scope grows (solo role today).
