Event Procurement Lead

Job summary

LINKVIVA is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage the full procurement lifecycle for events across the UAE. You will source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and build trusted partnerships to deliver high-quality experiences on time and within budget.

The role demands detailed, commercially aware professionals who can coordinate across cross-functional teams and deadlines in a fast-paced events environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering preferred).
• 23 years of procurement or supply chain experience within the UAE events fabrication joinery or production industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential vendors, suppliers, and contractors across event materials and services, building and maintaining a strong supplier database.
• Manage vendor registration processes ensuring verified suppliers are approved through internal systems and management sign-off.
• Secure a minimum of 35 quotations per requirement, conduct comparisons and negotiate pricing, contracts and terms to achieve best value while maintaining quality standards.
• Generate and manage purchase orders ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to monitor procurement budgets, track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all procured materials and services meet agency standards, project specifications and operational requirements.
• Build and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships to support future project delivery.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for event materials, reducing wastage and maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of procurement activities, contracts and vendor communications.
