Job summary

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is seeking a dynamic sales professional to lead wedding events, identify new opportunities, and build relationships with planners and coordinators. You will conduct site tours, craft customized proposals, and negotiate contracts while ensuring superior service and profitability.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of luxury hospitality sales experience, with excellent English communication and a proactive, client‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5-star environment.
• Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel.
• Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for wedding events at the hotel.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding planners, event coordinators, and other key stakeholders in the wedding industry.
• Conduct site tours for potential clients and showcase the hotel’s facilities, amenities, and services tailored to wedding events.
• Collaborate with the catering and events teams to create customized wedding packages and proposals that meet the needs and preferences of clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients while ensuring profitability and adherence to hotel policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands related to wedding events to remain competitive in the market.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using CRM software or other designated tools.
• Collaborate with marketing and promotional efforts to enhance the visibility and reputation of the hotel as a premier wedding destination.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand the hotel’s presence and generate leads.

REPORT LINE & COMMUNICATION

• Reports to the Director of Commercial
• Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished
• Communicates effectively with guest, clients, business partners and staff

OTHERS
