Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai invites a Product Manager – EV Strategy to lead BYD/Polestar volumes, pricing, and portfolio performance. You will partner with regional and global teams to shape roadmaps, define segments, and translate UAE customer needs into concrete product actions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or business, at least 5 years in automotive product planning, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in product management, planning, pricing, or portfolio planning within automotive.
• Experience with OEMs, automotive distributors, or major mobility businesses in the UAE or GCC preferred.
• Strong understanding of EV brands, EV technology, charging ecosystems, and mobility innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the product strategy for BYD within Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility while supporting wider electric vehicle portfolio priorities.
• Act as the voice of the UAE customer by translating buyer needs, market behavior, and product feedback into clear product actions.
• Define target segments and core customer personas for each model in the BYD and Polestar lineup.
• Manage the full product lifecycle across assigned electric vehicle models, ensuring updates align with technology trends and market feedback.
• Shape grade walk, specification strategy, pricing structure, and value positioning to improve volume and profitability.
• Conduct real-time competitive analysis covering pricing, features, model availability, and consumer offers.
