Job summary

Innovo Group in Dubai seeks a senior MEP Estimator to lead the estimating team, oversee tender submissions and prepare cost estimates for all MEP disciplines. You will determine pricing approaches, manage risk provisions, and ensure accuracy to drive competitive bids.

Responsibilities include coordination with Engineering and Procurement, maintaining templates and databases, and driving process improvements to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of MEP estimating experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE MEP market pricing and supply chain.
• Excellent analytical, management, and communication skills.

Role Purpose

To lead and manage Innovo MEP's estimating team, overseeing the preparation of all tender submissions and cost estimates to ensure competitive, accurate, and timely bids across all MEP disciplines.

Key Accountabilities

• Team Leadership
  • Lead and manage estimation engineers across all MEP disciplines.
  • Allocate estimating resources across concurrent tenders; manage workload prioritisation.
• Tender Strategy
  • Contribute to bid strategy; determine pricing approach and risk provisions for each tender.
  • Review and approve all cost estimates and BOQs before tender submission.
• Market Intelligence
  • Maintain current knowledge of UAE MEP market pricing, labour rates, and supply chain trends.
  • Brief the Commercial Director on pricing movements that could affect bid competitiveness.
• Process Improvement
  • Develop and maintain estimating templates, rate databases, and take-off tools.
  • Implement best practices and improve estimation accuracy over time.
• Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise with Engineering and Procurement to validate technical scope and pricing assumptions before submission.
  • Coordinate with Project Directors on win/loss reviews to refine future bid strategy.
• Innovation & Value Creation
  • Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
