Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an Administrative and Estimation Support professional in Dubai to assist the Estimation Department with supplier enquiries, basic quantity take-offs, and cost data management. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, reviewing drawings, and supporting tender submissions.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in Estimation or Tender Administration, a civil-related degree, and experience with Excel, CAD, or CCS Take-off tools. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Estimation, Procurement, QS, or Tender Administration.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in Estimation and Quantity Surveying are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of interior fit-out and joinery works.

Responsibilities

• Send enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors as directed by the estimators.
• Follow up suppliers and subcontractors for quotations, samples, technical datasheets, and clarifications.
• Maintain and update supplier and subcontractor databases.
• Record and track received quotations.
• Assist in preparing quotation comparison sheets.
• Assist estimators in reviewing drawings and specifications.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs and measurements under supervision.
• Prepare quantity schedules.
• Update quantity take-off sheets when revised drawings are issued.
• Maintain historical cost and supplier pricing records.
• Update material and labour cost databases.
• Organize supplier quotations and project cost information for future reference.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and technical information.
• Assist in preparing meeting minutes and action trackers.
• Support the estimation team during tender submissions and deadline periods
