MOHAMMAD SULTAN AL MEHAIRI TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC is seeking an experienced Estimation Officer with a strong background in finishing works or the furniture industry. The candidate will visit sites, take measurements, calculate quantities and costs, prepare quotations, and generate invoices for completed works.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of UAE experience in estimation/costing.
• Finishing or furniture industry experience preferred/required.
• Strong understanding of materials, quantities, labour, and installation costs.
• Ability to independently visit sites and take accurate measurements.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to prepare BOQs, quotations, costing sheets, and invoices.
• Ability to read and understand drawings is an advantage.
• UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice preferred.

• Coordinate with clients, site supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify requirements.
• Obtain and compare material and supplier quotations.
• Calculate material quantities and prepare accurate costing.
• Prepare quotations for additional works and variations.
• Verify completed work and measurements before preparing invoices.
• Prepare invoices based on approved quotations, measurements, and completed works.
• Maintain proper records of measurements, estimates, quotations, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify quantities, materials, and work requirements.
• Ensure estimates and quotations are accurate and commercially viable.
• Follow up on quotation approvals and invoice submissions.
• Handle multiple site visits and estimation assignments within required deadlines.

Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Officer with a strong background in finishing works or the furniture industry. The candidate should be capable of visiting sites, understanding the required work, taking accurate measurements, calculating quantities and costs, preparing quotations, and preparing invoices based on completed works.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

• Furniture estimation and costing

• Joinery / carpentry

• Interior finishing works

• Fit-out works

• Woodwork and custom furniture

• Painting and finishing

• Partitions, ceilings, flooring, or related finishing works

• Experience in taking site measurements and converting them into quantities and costing

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in estimation/costing.

• Finishing or furniture industry experience is preferred/required.

• Strong understanding of materials, quantities, labour, and installation costs.

• Ability to independently visit sites and take accurate measurements.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Ability to prepare BOQs, quotations, costing sheets, and invoices.

• Ability to read and understand drawings is an advantage.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• UAE Driving Licence is preferred.

• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
