Job summary

Innovo Group in Dubai invites a recent Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate to join our estimation team as an MEP Estimator support. You will gain hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, pricing, and tender preparation under senior guidance.

Key activities include supporting senior estimators, preparing BOQs, managing supplier quotes, and maintaining estimating databases while developing your technical knowledge of MEP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (recent graduate).
• 0–2 years of MEP estimating or engineering experience.
• AutoCAD and Excel proficiency.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior estimators in performing quantity take-offs from MEP drawings.
• Cross-check take-off quantities against drawing revisions and specifications.
• Help compile pricing schedules, BOQs, and tender documents as directed.
• Assist with formatting and proofreading tender submission documents before issue.
• Obtain supplier quotations for materials and equipment as instructed.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure quotations are received before pricing deadlines.
• Maintain estimating databases, rate libraries, and tender files.
• Update supplier contact records and historical pricing logs accurately.
• Actively develop technical knowledge of MEP systems and estimating methodologies.
• Participate in tender reviews and site visits to build practical understanding.
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Role Purpose

To support Innovo MEP's estimation team in preparing MEP cost estimates and tender documentation, gaining hands‑on experience in quantity take-offs, pricing, and tender preparation under senior guidance.

Key Accountabilities

QTO Support

• Assist senior estimators in performing quantity take-offs from MEP drawings.
• Cross-check take-off quantities against drawing revisions and specifications.

Pricing Support
