Job summary

Wasco Berhad is seeking a Tender Estimator to support UAE projects by reviewing technical drawings, client requirements, and bid documents. The role emphasizes cost estimation, supplier quotations, and preparation of detailed cost breakdowns to ensure competitive and compliant proposals.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, procurement, planning, and operations teams, handling pricing and bid submissions with strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cost estimation techniques and project execution.
• Proficiency In Microsoft Excel and presentations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Prepare tender queries and seek clarifications from clients.
• Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, operations, and project management teams.
• Obtain and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates.
• Preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop pricing sheets, bid summaries, and cost breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements and company procedures.
• Compile bidding documentation and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
• Maintain estimation databases, cost records, and historical project data.
• Organize and update supplier and subcontractor information.
