Job summary

NAFFCO seeks an experienced Estimation Engineer for its Security Solutions team in Dubai. You will provide cost estimates and technical solutions for security systems including access control and CCTV. Collaboration with PMs and technical teams will be essential to clarify requirements and align scope.

Strong analytical skills and English communication are critical as you benchmark costs, prepare tender documents, evaluate supplier quotes, and drive value engineering across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with emphasis on electrical/electronics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating security solutions and ELV systems.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed project assessments to prepare accurate cost estimates for security solutions and ELV systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to clarify requirements and align on scope.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to benchmark costs and optimize bids.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents with technical and financial proposals.
• Evaluate supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Utilize estimation software to streamline the estimation process and improve accuracy.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss cost implications and value-engineering opportunities.
• Stay updated on new technologies and regulations to inform estimation practices.
