Job summary

GIG Gulf, a Fairfax company, seeks a Cloud and AI Architect to drive enterprise cloud and AI strategy across the organization. You will define architecture standards, lead pilots, and design secure, scalable AI-enabled solutions in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, multi-country hosting, and operational realities while guiding teams toward reusable patterns and cost-conscious delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
• Experience in cloud architecture across AWS or Azure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of security, governance and regulatory considerations in insurance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise cloud and AI architectures, standards, and reference patterns.
• Lead pilots, PoCs and explorations of new cloud and AI solutions.
• Design secure, scalable cloud and AI enabled services aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business to deliver roadmaps and governance.
• Guide teams on cloud-native design, automation, and cost governance.
• Ensure production readiness, cost transparency and operational support.
