Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English and Global Perspective lesson plans aligned with British Curriculum (KS2) benchmarks.
• Evaluate student performance, conduct formative/summative assessments, and provide constructive academic feedback.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
• Track individual student progress, address varied learning needs, and support pastoral care initiatives.
• Collaborate with Key Stage 2 faculty members, participate in professional development workshops, and engage in school-wide activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, Language, or Education alongside a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or state teaching license).
• Work Experience: Direct experience teaching English at the Key Stage 2 primary level within a British Curriculum school environment.
