Job summary

Jumeirah Mina Al Salam is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead BMS operations for its outlet, ensuring precise control of temperature, lighting, and building facilities. You will plan upgrades, manage installations, and drive energy efficiency while maintaining high service standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5-8 years in hospitality engineering, strong leadership, and project-management skills, with a detail-oriented mindset to oversee complex facilities, equipment, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field required.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in hospitality.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and creative thinking.
• Excellent leadership, team management and project management skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and program BMS systems to ensure accurate operation of temperature, lighting, and building facilities.
• Plan and coordinate BMS upgrades, reprogramming, and hardware/software installations to improve efficiency and energy savings.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems through effective BMS management.
• Monitor BMS performance, data, and system values, identifying opportunities for operational and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Ensure proper maintenance, functionality, and compliance of BMS systems with operational standards and Jumeirah policies.
