Job summary

ADNOC invites applications for a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist in Abu Dhabi. You will plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day maintenance of rotating and static equipment and plant utilities to ensure reliability and availability of critical assets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and about 6 years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience, with strong planning, troubleshooting and contractor coordination skills. UAE-based opportunity with ADNOC Onshore standards.

Qualifications

Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah has the capacity to capture 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for use in the Bab and Rumaitha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). Al Reyadah is, therefore, a critical enabler of ADNOC’s 2030 sustainability goals.

Job Purpose

Plan, coordinate and supervise the Mechanical/Utility maintenance activities to ensure the availability and reliability of the rotating and static equipment in assigned field.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Maintenance Planning, Execution and Expertise

Plan, schedule and supervise the day to day maintenance activities (Preventive, Predictive, Troubleshooting. breakdown..,etc.) for all mechanical equipment in assigned field in addition to plant utilities (HVAC systems, STP (Sewage treatment plants), Potable water systems, Lifting equipment, mobile power generator. mobile compressors, camp facilities and relevant external potable water supply

• Ensure the availability of required resources (manpower, material, spares, consumables, tools etc..) in addition to supervising and coordinating all maintenance activities performed by contractor personnel,Develop long range plans for machinery overhaul through performance evaluations on the equipmentand based on running hours to maintain high reliability & availability of the plant,
• Participate in the preparation of predictive, preventive, modification and major shutdown maintenance programmes for mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Ensure that all the plant rotating and static equipment are maintained, improved and/or replaced for optimum plant availability, reliability and sustainability to meet the plant Integrity requirements.
• Investigate and analyse equipment failure to identify the root cause and suggest the appropriatecontrol measures.
• Participate and endorse the Task Risk assessment for all relevant tasks as per PTW system and
• Ensure that all maintenance records/MAXlMO; fault reports. log books are kept up to date
• Ensures maintenance and testing of low and high pressure safety/relief valves, checks that overhaul work complies with the ADNOC-Onshore standards,
• Ensure on time inspection and certification of all lifting equipment and loose lifting gears according to ADNOC -Onshore standards,Manage and follow-up the performance of relevant service contractor e.g. HVAC. STP and third party certification.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

6 years of experience, in-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas maintenance. Professional Certifications
