Job summary

Black Box is seeking an experienced ELV/Systems Project Support professional to conduct detailed site surveys for CCTV, ACS and ELV systems in UAE. You will collaborate with pre-sales and project teams to define scope, meet compliance, and plan execution strategies.

You will plan onsite activities, lead installation and commissioning, coordinate technicians and subcontractors, and ensure handover documentation is prepared. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or related field.
• SIRA certification is preferred.
• 3-7 years of UAE ELV/security system project experience.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales and project teams by conducting site surveys for ELV, CCTV, and ACS.
• Understand customer requirements, project scope, prerequisites, and compliance needs.
• Assist in project planning, execution strategy and implementation methodology.
• Plan and manage onsite implementation activities for CCTV, ACS, and ELV systems.
• Lead and supervise installation works for CCTV and Access Control at site.
• Coordinate daily activities of onsite technicians, subcontractors and labor to ensure timely execution.
• Lead installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of CCTV cameras, NVRs/VMS and access control hardware.
• Conduct end-user training on CCTV and Access Control systems; support handover and documentation.
• Coordinate with authorities for SIRA inspections and prepare compliance reports.

Pre-Sales & Project Support

Support pre-sales and project teams by conducting detailed site surveys for ELV, CCTV, and Access Control Systems (ACS).

Understand customer requirements, project scope, technical pre-requisites, and compliance needs.

Assist in project planning, execution strategy, and implementation methodology.

Project Planning & Execution

Plan and manage onsite implementation activities related to CCTV, ACS, and ELV systems.

Lead and supervise installation works for CCTV and Access Control systems at site.

Coordinate daily activities of onsite technicians, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure timely execution.

Installation, Configuration & Commissioning

Lead Installation, Configuration, Testing, And Commissioning Of
CCTV cameras (IP/Analog)
NVRs / VMS
Access Control panels, controllers, readers, locks
Interfaces, devices, and related accessories
Ensure systems are implemented as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

Training & Handover

Conduct end-user training on CCTV and Access Control systems.

Prepare and support system handover, as-built documentation, and operational guides.

SIRA Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with relevant authorities for SIRA inspections.

Prepare and submit SIRA documentation including drawings, configurations, and compliance reports.

Lead the complete SIRA process from planning through inspection to final approval.

Address inspection comments and ensure successful approvals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control Systems, and ELV technologies
• Hands-on experience in configuration and commissioning of security systems
• Good understanding of SIRA regulations and approval process
• Strong site coordination and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (clients, authorities, subcontractors)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Education / Experience Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related field

SIRA certification (preferred)

3-7 years of experience in ELV / Security system projects in UAE
