Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Abu Dhabi with at least 8 years of experience, including 3 years in site supervision or project management. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and hands-on expertise in power distribution and installation practices.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software is essential. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate with a team across design and construction activities within our Buildings & Places business line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 3 years in site supervision or project management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, and installation practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs routine duties.
• Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques to meet basic specifications.
• Performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities for conformance with specifications and design.
• Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
• May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

Job Description
