Job summary

PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution - IC is seeking an experienced Civil QA/QC professional to oversee project quality plans and inspection plans on site. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs and contract docs, and supervise material approvals and NCR processes.

The role requires strong coordination with consultants, contractors and site engineers, with a focus on QC of structural works and field testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Ensure site activities comply with drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and site engineers for inspections.
• Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Conduct site quality inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Ensure proper execution of structural works (footings, columns, beams, slabs).
• Witness field tests (slump, cube, soil compaction).
• Maintain quality records, checklists and documentation.
• Monitor concrete pouring and curing procedures.

Conduct internal audits and site quality meetings.

Ensure calibration of equipment and testing instruments.

Monitor subcontractor performance and workmanship quality.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards (if applicable).

Assist in handing over completed works with proper documentation.
