Job summary

The Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre in Dubai is seeking an Engine Overhaul Engineer to supervise and mentor engineers, technicians and mechanics in engine overhaul, testing and rectification to meet airworthiness standards.

You will manage approvals, workforce planning, safety, and process compliance across MOE procedures, EPMs and OEM recommendations, driving quality and on-time delivery at the Test Cell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Avionics, Electronics or Technical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Must hold the Engine Overhaul Workshop approval/authorisation.
• At least 3 years of certifying experience as an approval holder in an Aviation MRO environment.
• Strong technical knowledge including ability to review Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Proven ability to lead and delegate work to diverse teams to meet production targets and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in risk assessments, audits and MOE/regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage budgetary activities and coordinate with support functions to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities and provide mentoring to engineers, technicians and mechanics to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Manage tasks for quality and accuracy using engine overhaul processes, IPCs, CMMs and SBs.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings and participate in improvement projects for efficiency and best practice.
• Assess staff competencies and progress; support training and approvals to achieve skill targets.
• Ensure attendance and shift coverage align with the roster and capability regulations.
