Job summary

Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre in Dubai is seeking an Engine Overhaul Engineer to supervise assembly, disassembly, inspection, repairs and testing of aircraft engines within the Test Cell, ensuring work is performed to the highest standards of airworthiness and OEM guidance.

You will mentor engineers and technicians, manage safety, quality and regulatory compliance, coordinate with support functions, and drive process improvements to maximize efficiency while delivering reliable engine

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Engine Overhaul Workshop approval/authorisation.
• At least 3 years’ certifying experience as approval holder in Aviation MRO.
• Strong knowledge of Airworthiness Directives and SBs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in engine overhaul tasks.
• Manage tasks for quality, documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee staffing, training and skill development for the section.
• Promote safe working environment and enforce safety policies.
• Lead toolbox meetings and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with MOE procedures and EPM policies.
• Oversee test cell maintenance and troubleshooting.
