Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required; professional qualification preferred.
• Approx. 7+ years of FP&A or related finance experience in a dynamic environment.
• Strong modelling, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasts and long-range plans.
• Develop financial models for scenarios and business cases.
• Produce monthly management reports with variance analysis and insights.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and insights.
• Monitor cash flow forecasts with Treasury collaboration.
• Support external reporting with FP&A insights and data
• Drive FP&A process improvements and automation.

We are working with a prestigious semi-government organisation in Abu Dhabi to appoint a Finance Manager to join its growing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious UAE National with strong FP&A, financial planning, budgeting and business partnering experience to take on a highly visible role supporting senior stakeholders and strategic decision-making.

Candidates with slightly less experience may also be considered at Associate Manager – Finance level.

You will play a key role in driving financial performance, planning and analysis across the organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans
• Developing and maintaining financial models to support scenario planning and business cases
• Producing monthly management reports, variance analysis and performance commentary
• Identifying financial trends, risks and opportunities and providing actionable recommendations
• Supporting strategic initiatives through financial analysis and insight
• Monitoring cash flow forecasts in collaboration with Treasury
• Supporting external reporting requirements through the provision of FP&A insights
• Driving process improvements and automation across FP&A activities
• Supporting external audit processes where required
• Partnering closely with department heads to drive financial accountability and optimise budget utilisation

We are looking for a UAE National with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Ideally, a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or CMA, or an MBA
• Approximately 7+ years’ experience in FP&A or a related finance role within a dynamic organisation
• Strong experience in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
• The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior management
• Strong ERP experience, ideally Oracle, alongside advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI and reporting tools would be advantageous
