Job summary

Aventus in Dubai seeks an Associate 1 to join its Emerging Markets Debt Capital Markets team. You will support origination, structuring and execution of DCM transactions across EM and broader markets, collaborating with senior bankers and product partners.

The role offers exposure to sovereigns, financial institutions and corporates in MENA, with emphasis on bond issuances and debt financing. Strong financial analysis, Excel/PowerPoint, and Bloomberg skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of investment banking experience with DCM or related teams.
• Strong understanding of debt capital markets and fixed-income products.
• Experience with bond issuance and debt financing transactions.
• Solid financial and credit analysis capabilities.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient in Bloomberg.
• Familiarity with macroeconomic drivers affecting EM debt.

Responsibilities

• Support the origination, structuring and execution of DCM transactions across emerging markets.
• Assist senior bankers with client pitches, financing proposals and presentations.
• Prepare market updates, credit analyses, investor analyses and DCM materials.
• Analyze issuer financials, capital structures, debt maturities and funding needs.
• Support senior team members in developing relationships with issuers and investors.
