Job summary

Aventus, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Debt Capital Markets Associate Solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE to join its Dubai practice. The role offers exposure to a broad range of conventional and Islamic DCM transactions across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, working with major financial institutions, corporates and other issuers.

Qualifications

• Strong DCM experience required.
• 3-5 PQE in debt capital markets or equivalent.
• Experience with international law firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle conventional bond and Sukuk issuances.
• Work on EMTN and other debt issuance programmes.
• Engage in regulatory capital instruments (AT1, Tier 2).
• Involve Islamic capital markets and Sukuk structures.
• Manage liability management, tender and exchange offers.
• Oversee bond restructurings and amendments.
• Handle cross-border and emerging market transactions.
