Job summary

Trowers & Hamlins in Dubai is seeking an Associate to join the International Banking and Finance team, handling a mix of capital markets matters including Sharia-compliant issuances and MTN programmes.

You will assist with transaction management, document drafting, and regulatory interactions while coordinating with junior team members and other departments to deliver seamless financing solutions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 PQE with focus on debt capital markets and banking work.
• Experience drafting transaction documents, prospectuses and listing materials.
• Interest in Islamic finance and Middle East markets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle a range of capital markets matters, conventional and Sharia-compliant.
• Assist with transaction management from inception to close and drafting documents.
• Draft facility agreements, security documents, and other banking ancillary docs.
• Support structured products and derivatives mandates and client interaction.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with the team to provide finance advice and build client relationships.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and business development efforts.
• Work across various banking and capital markets specialisms as needed.
