Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a senior credit underwriting and portfolio management professional to lead end-to-end credit appraisal for SME and Emerging Corporate segments in the UAE. The role focuses on sound credit decisions, robust portfolio oversight, and timely risk identification, aligned with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

You will support the Head of Business Banking Credit, influence policy implementation, and mentor a team to deliver high-quality credit solutions

Qualifikationen

• Degree and/or professional qualification in banking, credit or risk management.
• Experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management in corporate/SME sectors.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage teams and priorities.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end credit appraisal and underwriting for SME and Emerging Corporate proposals within portfolio scope.
• Ensure proposals are supported by financial, industry, management, security, and due-diligence analysis.
• Assess obligor and group risk, repayment capacity, facility structure, collateral, covenants, and pricing.
• Approve or recommend credits within authority; escalate to sanctioning as required.
• Oversee annual reviews, renewals, waivers, and other credit actions with timely decisioning.
• Monitor asset quality via portfolio monitoring framework and early warning indicators.
