ELV Project Engineer

Job summary

Ignite Group in Dubai seeks an experienced ELV engineer to lead hands-on installation, testing and maintenance of CCTV, access control, SCS, gate barriers, intercom systems and more. The role requires 3–5 years of UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license.

You will manage on-site teams, ensure drawings and specs are followed, handle project documentation, scheduling and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with clients to deliver quality installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent field.
• 3–5 years UAE experience in relevant ELV projects.
• Willingness to travel for project implementation and client support.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• SIRA Certificate mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on ELV solutions knowledge: CCTV, ACS, SCS, Gate Barrier, Intercom, IPTV, AV and BGM.
• Understanding ICT passive systems incl. fiber/copper cabling, IDF/ODF cabinets and active systems (storage, switches, firewalls, servers).
• Experience with du/Etisalat and SIRA-compliant projects: inspections, portal management, testing, commissioning.
• Lead and supervise internal project team to ensure work follows drawings and specs.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on ELV and security systems.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Prepare project docs (MS, MIR, WIR, CIR) and obtain approvals.
• Monitor progress, timelines and budget.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues.
• Prepare RFIs, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering specialized in Electronics or equivalent field.
• Willingness to travel as required for project implementation and client support.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• SIRA Certificate is mandatory.
• Responsibilities:
• Proven hands-on experience in ELV solutions including CCTV, ACS, SCS, Gate Barrier, Intercom, IPTV, AV and BGM systems.
• Good understanding of ICT passive systems including Fiber optic and copper cabling, IDF/ODF cabinets and active systems such as storage, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Experience handling du/Etisalat and SIRA-compliant projects, including authority inspections, portal management, testing, and commissioning.
• Direct, supervise and control qualified internal project team members to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on ELV and security systems.
• Prepare and write regular work progress reports as required by the Project Manager
• Prepare and submit project-related documents, including MS, MIR, WIR, and CIR, and obtain the necessary approvals.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budget.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Prepare project reports, RFIs, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.
