Job summary

You will support the ELL teacher and multilingual learners to build English proficiency and access the full curriculum with confidence, while helping with classroom organisation and student development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with multilingual learners or in an educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication, patience and teamwork skills.
• Ability to assist planning, materials prep and classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with planning and delivering activities and lessons.
• Provide individual and small-group support for learners.
• Support language development across speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Prepare teaching materials and resources.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the teacher.
• Contribute to a safe, organised, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in school events and professional development.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies.
