Job summary

Safa Community School in Dubai is seeking a dynamic Swim Coach and PE Teacher to support the Head of Swimming and Head of PE in delivering the curriculum swim programme and competitive swimming provision.

You will coach across primary and secondary squads, organise tournaments including DASSA, DSG, Dubai 7s and other fixtures, and help inspire young athletes to reach high standards. You will also help organise international tours and contribute to a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Specialism in swimming with proven experience leading swim squads is essential.
• Willingness to take Water Polo and Aquathlon squads is essential.
• Ability to offer coaching across other sports is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for developing young athletes across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible coach across primary and secondary swimming ECAs, ensuring high-quality delivery and aligned coaching methods.
• Support staff and coaches in delivering age-appropriate and engaging swimming sessions.
• Provide a broad and challenging competitive calendar, including DASSA, DSG, Dubai 7s, BSME, WSG and additional fixtures.
• Organise and lead annual international swimming tours and trips.
• Nurture performance squad swimmers through focused training and high-performance standards, collaborating with the Strength and Conditioning Lead.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with the Director of Sport, Head of PE, senior leadership, staff, parents and students.
