Job summary

Safa Community School in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Swim Coach and PE Teacher to lead the school’s swimming program across Primary and Secondary. The role combines coaching excellence with classroom-based PE delivery to inspire young athletes.

Specialism in Swimming and proven experience leading Swim Squads are essential. You will collaborate with Heads of Swimming and PE to drive performance, safety, and a positive, inclusive sporting culture for all students.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching PE at school level.
• Specialism in Swimming and Swim Squads leadership.
• Willingness to lead water polo and aquathlon squads.
• Ability to coach multiple sports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strong, visible coach across Primary and Secondary swimming ECA schedules.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and consistent coaching methods across age groups.
• Organise and lead annual international swimming tours and trips.
• Develop performance pathways and work with the Strength & Conditioning Lead for athlete development.
• Engage with DOS, HoPE, SLT, staff, parent body and students to build a strong school sport culture.
