Job summary

PIPECARE Group is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our engineering team. You will work on design recommendations, diagnose sources of technical problems and suggest solutions.

Responsibilities include assembling products to schematics, testing and troubleshooting, soldering, calibration, and entering daily ERP reports, while maintaining a safe, neat work area. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and 3–5 years of hands-on PCB and electronics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of work experience.
• Basic knowledge and experience in electronic instrumentation and measurements.
• Attention to detail with quality focus.
• Good soldering, calibration and testing experience on electronic PCBs and equipment.
• Stress resistant.
• Good verbal communication skills in English (desirable).
• Creative, critical and curious.

Job description

Pipe Care Group of companies has been helping customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years.Pipe CareGroupis looking for an experienced Electronics Technician who work with engineering - recommend changes in design and manufacturing procedures and to identify the source of the technical problem and suggest solution.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• To follow written and/or verbal instructions assemble products to schematics and/or design specifications using a variety of Testing equipment, hand tools including some precision soldering techniques
• To test, troubleshoot and repair completed products and field returns as required.
• To assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to design, engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components
• To operate drills, or other machine tools to fabricate parts, such as coils or other electronics section’s related parts
• To enter daily report in to ERP
• Mold Crab, Flap, Connectors, etc.
• Maintain work areas in a neat and tidy manner in line with HSE standards,
• To conduct pressure testing
• Soldering and Preparation of External and Internal Electronics
• Winding of Coils, Preparation of Tool Accessories
• Testing of soft wares and hardware
• Molding using MS1000
• Pressure test of External Electronics and Containers
• Final Check on Tools
• Calibration of Tools
• Testing of incoming PCBs
• Preparation for R&D and Internal Projects.

Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience
• 3Basic knowledge and experience in electronic instrumentation and measurements
• Attention to detail, quality focus
• Good experience of soldering, calibration and testing on electronic PCBs & equipment
• Stress resistant
• Good verbal communication skills (in English – desirable)
• Creative, critical and curious.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
