Qualifications

• Up to two years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in the UAE.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding capability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose day‑to‑day electrical faults and complete repairs within required timeframes.

Electrician - Property Maintenance in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a Facilities Services opportunity for a technically capable professional with experience maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. GMG is hiring an electrician to install, inspect, repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment while supporting safe building operations and reliable maintenance services.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Salary: 3000-5000. Job Type: Full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, wiring and electrical panels.
• Perform electrical maintenance across assigned residential and commercial properties.
• Diagnose day-to-day electrical faults and complete repairs within required timeframes.
• Investigate system failures and implement suitable corrective action.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls involving electrical equipment or power systems.
• Complete additional technical work related to electrical maintenance when required.
• Inspect electrical equipment, accessories and protection systems regularly.
• Ensure electrical systems are used and maintained according to operational requirements.
• Test circuits, components and equipment using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Verify that electrical safety devices remain functional and in safe condition.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams.
• Work safely with AC, DC, single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Record completed work, replacement parts, repair details and associated costs.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records for future reference.
• Update supervisors on daily work progress, outstanding faults and technical concerns.
• Report equipment damage, unsafe conditions or recurring failures promptly.
• Follow approved maintenance procedures and technical instructions.
• Comply with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Use tools, testing instruments and protective equipment correctly.
• Coordinate with facilities teams when repair work affects wider property operations.
• Help maintain smooth and reliable electrical services across assigned sites.

Ideal Profile

• Technical certificate, diploma or vocational qualification in electrical installation or a related field.
• Up to two years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals.
• Practical knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.
• Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase installations.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding capability.
• Experience maintaining lighting, outlets, panels and building wiring.
