Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking an Electrician to join our Engineering Team. The role focuses on operating, maintaining and repairing all electrical systems to meet the hotel's luxury standards.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will report to the Electrical Engineer and respond quickly to guest maintenance requests while upholding safety and cleanliness in the workshop and public areas.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control panels and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and manuals.
• Familiarity with hotel engineering operations and preventive maintenance.
• Good communication skills in a guest-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Attends to electrical systems operation and maintenance work as required.
• Carries out equipment preventive and routine maintenance.
• Responds to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.
• Maintains clean and tidy workshop and related areas.
• Adheres to prescribed safety standards and company policies.
• Interacts with other departments to provide technical support for functions and events.
