Job summary

Southern Sun in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrician to maintain hotel electrical plants, diagnose breakdowns, and perform repairs. You will install new electrical equipment and conduct monthly detailed updates of all electrical assets, working safely on live circuits up to 415V.

Candidates should have 2-3 years in hotels within the UAE and hold a full-term Diploma in Electrical/ITI, with hands-on apprenticeship experience. Shift flexibility and strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

2–3 years of hotel experience in the UAE.
Hands-on electrical experience and an apprenticeship.
Full-term Diploma in Electrical/ITI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assess electrical/plant breakdowns and perform repairs.
Install new electrical equipment.
Carry out preventative maintenance checks and identify faults.
Produce a full and detailed electrical update of all plant and equipment monthly.
Comply with ADOSH and safety standards.
Conduct monthly meter readings.
Work on live equipment up to 415V.
Participate in HSE programmes.
Ensure compliance installations have certification.
Work alone or as part of a team to meet quality standards.
