Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electrical and Telecom Inspector in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to oversee site inspections for street lighting, ITS, MCC, telecom works, and related electrical interfaces. You will verify installations against drawings, specs, method statements, and inspection plans, ensuring quality and compliance with HSE procedures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ inspection experience on infrastructure projects with electrical and telecom

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of inspection experience on infrastructure or utilities projects with electrical and telecom scope.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong inspection reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inspection reporting systems.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors and multidisciplinary project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for electrical and telecom works and related interfaces.
• Verify activities against approved drawings, specifications, and inspection plans.
• Ensure only approved materials are used in permanent works.
• Maintain daily diaries, inspection records, and photos.
• Document non-conformances and track corrective actions.
• Report findings to project engineers and management.
• Support close-out documentation and handover records.
• Coordinate with testing teams to support verification and acceptance.
