Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Electrical Inspector to supervise site activities in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with contract documents, codes, and safety standards. You will document inspections, coordinate with engineers, and maintain meticulous QA records daily.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in electrical inspection and familiarity with CAD tools, testing equipment, and UAE regulations. Strong English communication and reporting skills are essential for this on-site role.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical inspection and site supervision.
Thorough understanding of Abu Dhabi and UAE electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Read and understand contract documents, drawings, specs, and health and safety measures.
Ensure contractor compliance via observation, measurements and testing; track QA progress.
Maintain records of contractor manpower, equipment, and daily resources.
Supervise site inspections and report to Resident/Assistant Resident Engineer.
Document personnel, activities, locations, and methods observed; follow site instructions.
Prepare site measurements and surveying checks; monitor quality and safety compliance.
