Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in the UAE is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician - Energy to join our maintenance team at the Johannesburg Pool facility, based in Ras al-Khaimah. You will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical plant equipment, ensuring safety and reliability of operations.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering or PEC training, with hands-on experience on LV/MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs,

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with PEC training or equivalent certification.
Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and safe operations.
Experience with LV/MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct condition monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure safe operation.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repair work across plant electrical assets.
Mentor junior technicians and uphold safety standards across maintenance tasks.
