Job summary

Express Pack Print in the UAE seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems across the production lines.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair VFDs, motors, PLCs, and control panels, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety standards. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and teamwork in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in corrugated/packaging/paperboard/printing industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, VFDs, motors, PLCs, and industrial electrical equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE and available for immediate joining.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe production.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment efficiently.
• Respond promptly to plant and production line breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, motors, PLC modules, control systems, and electrical panels.
• Carry out routine maintenance, installation, calibration, and technical repairs.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
• Use electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and megohm meters.
• Collaborate with operators, mechanics, technicians, and other departments.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials, procedures, and working hours.
• Follow all health, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.
