Job summary
AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Resident Engineer to manage planning, coordination and supervision of complex construction projects. The role requires deep knowledge of engineering, materials, design specifications and regulatory standards for UAE substations and HV/eHV works.
You will monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, review shop drawings and maintain engineering records, while coordinating permits and communicating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, construction or industrial buildings.
- 12–15 years of construction experience in 132kV, 400kV substations and HV/EHV cable laying projects.
- Experience with ADNOC and TRANSCO projects and construction supervision.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and supervision of construction projects.
- Maintain project engineering records and weekly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Building Code, safety regs and quality standards.
- Coordinate permits/NOCs and liaise with ADNOC/TRANSCO.
- Review shop drawings and monitor schedules to meet deadlines.
