Job summary

Mirari Smart Technical Services LLC seeks an Electrical Site Engineer for its MEP projects in Dubai. You will lead foremen and electricians on site from first fix through testing, energisation and handover.

Responsibilities include reviewing diagrams, coordinating with trades, planning manpower and supervising LV distribution, cabling, fire alarms and ELV systems, while ensuring safety and project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years on-site experience as Electrical Site Engineer on MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV switchboards, cabling, fire alarms and ELV systems.

Mirari is hiring an Electrical Site Engineer for its MEP projects in Dubai. You will lead foremen and electricians on site, from first fix through testing, energisation and handover.

• Review single-line diagrams, shop drawings and cable routes. Coordinate openings and ceiling space with other trades before installation.
• Plan manpower with foremen, brief crews on the approved work sequence and report progress or delays to the project manager.
• Supervise LV distribution, cable containment, earthing, emergency lighting, fire alarm and ELV installations. Inspect the work and follow up on defects.
• Organise electrical testing, coordinate inspections and prepare handover records. Enforce site safety procedures during installation and energisation.
• Prepare material take-offs, check deliveries and document quantities and site changes for variations.

Skills

At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Site Engineer on MEP projects in the UAE or elsewhere in the GCC.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.

Hands-on experience supervising electrical foremen and crews. Strong knowledge of LV switchboards (MDBs, SMDBs and DBs), cabling, fire alarms and ELV systems.

Familiarity with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence and applicable IEC requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, with fluent written English.

Experience taking a villa, residential or commercial project from first fix through DEWA energisation and handover is preferred. A UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Passport valid for at least two years. Able to work on site and work overtime during peak periods. No history of major safety incidents.
