Job summary

Azizi Group is hiring a Site Engineer - Electrical to supervise and coordinate electrical works on site in line with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules and safety standards, and to work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams for timely, quality delivery.

The role requires strong coordination with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure compliance with DEWA/authorities and international standards, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in MEP contracting projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial or high-rise building projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical works including LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection and ELV systems.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements and material submittals prior to execution.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and other MEP disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure smooth site progress.
• Plan daily site activities and allocate manpower, materials and equipment efficiently.
• Ensure installation works comply with project specifications, DEWA/authority regulations and international standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor work progress against approved schedules and report delays or issues to the Project Engineer/Manager.
• Identify material requirements and raise material requests as per project timelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and site safety requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests (IRs) and as-built documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
