Job summary

ALEC Data Centre Solutions in Abu Dhabi seeks a Section Manager – Electrical to lead electrical installation works on a major data centre project. You will manage site teams, coordinate with engineers, procurement and QA/QC to ensure safe, on-time delivery to spec.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction, UAE experience, and a strong track record on mission-critical environments. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and proven leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical construction experience on major projects.
• Proven leadership of electrical installation works at senior level.
• 2–3 years UAE experience with local practices and regulations.
• Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, transformers, switchgear and generators.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation works for assigned section, ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineering, QA/QC and commissioning.
• Issue installation plans, track deliveries and manage documentation.
• Maintain site records, KPIs, and productivity metrics.
• Support testing, spares, and warranty schedules with engineering teams.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Construction Manager.
