Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking an experienced Technical Material Engineer - Electrical to join its CTO in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on evaluation, testing, and approval of electrical materials and systems across diverse projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local authority requirements.

The candidate must have 8-10 years of MEP material engineering experience, including at least five years in the UAE, with exposure to both contractor and consultant environments.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in MEP material engineering.
• Experience working in both contractor and consultant roles.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in the United Arab Emirates.
• Experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, high-rise, healthcare, and special construction projects.
• Proven experience reviewing electrical material submittals, technical data sheets, and physical samples.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical material evaluation, testing, and QA for electrical construction materials.
• Review material submissions to verify compliance with project specs and requirements.
• Evaluate data sheets, specifications, supporting docs, and samples for suitability.
• Ensure materials align with design objectives, Brand Standards, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to resolve material issues.
