Job summary

9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering consultancy and strong site exposure in the UAE. Experience on Middle East projects is highly preferred and a Masters or Chartered status is a plus.

The role focuses on supervising electrical works, reviewing shop drawings and calculations, conducting site inspections, and providing technical input to resolve on-site issues within ELV and low current systems.

Qualifications

Qualified graduate engineer in Electrical Engineering.
Masters Degree/Chartered Engineering status is a plus.

Responsibilities

Works independently and as part of a team to complete supervision activities.
Review electrical shop drawings, calculations, and method statements.
Conduct site inspections to ensure construction complies with approved designs.
Provide technical input to resolve electrical on-site issues.
Installation, testing and commissioning of ELV and Low Current systems (CCTV, Tel/Data, Intercom, Access control, Lighting control, Disable toilet Alarm, Fire Alarm, VESDA, Central Battery System).
Liaise daily with design team, contractors and other stakeholders.
Support supervision and coordination of project documentation and filing systems; manage project-related correspondence.
Implement QA procedures and CDM requirements; monitor progress and resolve design/detailing issues in meetings.
