Role Description

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within manufacturing facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing electrical issues in production lines, coordinating with production and engineering teams, and updating maintenance records and documentation. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will also support equipment upgrades, contribute to improvement projects, and ensure compliance with relevant electrical safety standards and company policies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and timely response to breakdowns are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering for industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Electricity knowledge, including understanding of power distribution, control systems, and safety regulations.
• Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduling, inspections, and implementation of maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Relevant technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
• Experience in plastics, polymer, petrochemical, or similar process industries is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and work with PLCs and automation systems is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting.
• Commitment to workplace safety, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
